What is the best states to retire in financially for those that wish to travel or who own motor homes?

Does anyone have any advice on what is the best state for retired people who want to mostly travel, possibly doing a motor home retirement for a few years? Any advice or tips on finding information is appreciated. Thanks.

1. Check out http://www.finfo.com/job . You can use this free finance tool to compare the cost of living for different locations. For example, the cost of living and state income taxes are very favorable in Nevada, Florida, and Texas (no state income tax for these three states). I would vote for Nevada because of the dry climate (less hassle). Compare a few of the locations you had in mind and it should be a no-brainer. Best of luck!
2. go to any state that does not charge state income tax on retirement income!!!
