Any ideas for redoing cushions and curtains for a camper trailer?
My husband and I are redoing a camper trailer and are looking for ideas to fix it up it's a1972 model. We are redoing the floor and needing to put up a door in the bathroom, retiling the kitchen wall. I've been looking for a web site with any tips to go to.

- Faith, Since it is a small living area, I would try and do it as cheap as possible, with a look of money! For the bathroom door, I would get an accordion door from Lowes. For "tile" in the kitchen bathroom area, I would look at 4x8 sheets of decor board at Lowes, really neat patterns, some look like tile, some look like leather, some wood. As for the floor of the camper, if the sub floor needs replacing use a 1/4 inch chip board, then find a piece of remenant linolieum at a carpet store. That way you will have one continious piece of flooring and not worry about grout or dirt getting between tile squares, and they do move after time creating spaces. You can take your cushions make a pattern of their sixe and either make slip covers for them, or take them to an unpohltry(?) shop and have them remade. For curtains, I would find material at walmart in the dollar bin and make curtains. Use the small spring curtain hangers, you can make tie backs using velcro. You could make place mats for your table to match them. I would say for about 200 dollars you could have it looking good and ready to go!
