How many pounds of 134 refrigerant are needed to fill the AC system of a 1997 U295 Foretravel motor home?
Although the rather extensive original owner's manuals cover all fluid capacities, there was no reference to the amount (in pounds or otherwise) of #134 refrigerant needed to recharge the dash air conditioning system. This is a 36 foot long motor home. So it will take a lot of product. We have put in six pounds and pressures are OK, we just don't know the correct amount.

- Ether look at the decal under the hood or look it up in a repair manual!
- Do a google search on 1997 U295 Foretravel mobile home and you will find lots of people selling them (with emails). Maybe they will know!!
- If these was made in the US, by law there has to be a sticker under the hood with the amount of r134a the system holds. You may end up calling the manufacter an asking them, other than that I don't know what to tell you sorry
