Can they make us get rid of our friends motor home?
Okay, We have recently moved here from another state and have been her since last april. recently we have had one of the next door people complaining on anything possible. Today we got a notice saying we have 7 days to get the motor home off the property. Its not my motor home and my sisters and she is staying on the properly living in the motor home untell she moves into her house she is remodling. They said its connected to the property (it is pluged into electric on our property and they said we cannot have a motor home pluged in on our property that we own. We must remove the motor home from the property. How can the police tell us we cannot have my sister stay in her motor home on our property pluged into electric. We pay the bills and i own the property. Is this even legal to do? oh yes we are gonna get fined a $100 a day min untell its gone.

- This is America! The greatest country on Earth. You do EXACTLY what the authorities tell you to do. No questions or complaining. The State owns that property, not you. If you don't believe me, just quit paying your property rent, and watch them auction it out from under you. Semper Fi!! (and other bullsh!t like that)
- Do as they ask and then get a good lawyer and sue them.
- It may have something to do with your neighborhood association or some type of deed restrictions. You should call the city code compliance office and see what this is all about. See what your rights are. In all fairness to your neighbors, I would hate to have a big motor home sitting within my view, cluttering up the street/property/neighborhood.
- Well, some areas zoning restricts 2 homes on one parcel of land. They can consider a motor home a second home. It is legal if it goes against zoning laws. Check with your local city ordinance to see what the laws are
